We have received several questions about icons used across video.js player skins by Nuevodevel.com.
Generally, all icons are vector icons inserted in HTML via the CSS @font-face declaration in exactly the same way as default video.js font in default css stylesheet. The font in skins by Nuevodevel.com is named "nuevo" and is declared in the skin css file as Base64 encoded WOFF font.
Version 8.0.0 of Nuevo software is the most significant update ever!
At first we completely rebuilt the code related to quality picker to improve performance and stability, but also to support 3rd party hlsjs plugin, an alternative for video.js default VHS handler used to stream HLS media files.
Two days ago Video.js 7.12.0 has been released. The new version comes with few new display rules. For this reason we were forced to update all Nuevodevel skins.
From time to time we are asked by the users about modifications to our software. Unfortunately, most often we must deny such requests.
Only if a request is for a feature that might be useful to many users Nuevodevel may perform the modification at the next scheduled maintenance for the particular script or module and users are not charged for the programming time.
Since Nuevo plugin version 8.0 all offline methods and options have been depreciated. New offline plugin is an easy to use alternative to show image or play video when live stream is temporary not available.
Few words of explanation. How do we know that live stream is offline?
